U3A Monthly Meeting & Age UK Talk on ‘Banking Scams’

Monday’s monthly meeting is run by our local U3A – University of the Third Age. It’s for “retired and semi-retired people to make new friends, keep active and learn together. Of course it’s not a university in the usual sense. It’s a university of life” says the Ruddington and District U3A.

This month’s guest speaker will be John Bryan, of Age UK, on ‘Banking Scams’. {Top photo courtesy of Albany House}

Non-members are always welcome. The branch says you can attend for FREE at the first session “but must thereafter join to be entitled to attend further meetings”.

Membership for a full year is £20, and you can either join at the meeting, and chat to members, or find out more from their website.

The meetings are held, on the third Monday of the month, for members at 2pm in Ruddington Methodist Church. Just go along, with your membership card, please. The Ruddington & District Branch was formed in 2018.
